By the initiative of students from Wrocław University of Technology and the Academy of Fine Arts, for the third time we build a modern car, which we will be racing in Formula 1 tracks.

W piątek 30.03.2012 przeprowadziliśmy badania zderzeniowe, naszego nowego absorbera, w ośrodku badań PIMOT.

Badania wykazały zbyt dużą sztywność tego elementu. Przyczynami mogą być spawy łączące ze sobą dwa profile.

Absorber to nic innego jak element zapobiegający zbyt dużym przeciążeniom podczas zderzenia. W autach drogowych rolę tą pełni zderzak, prowadnice oraz wszelkiego rodzaju belki.

Rama jest największym elementem pojazdu do którego mocowane są wszystkie podzespoły. „Główne zadanie typowej ramy podwoziowej polega na zapewnieniu wymaganego usytuowania przestrzennego poszczególnych członów składowych pojazdu i ograniczeniu do minimum ich chwilowych przemieszczeń wzajemnych (wskutek bezwładności, obciążeń zewnętrznych itd.).” [1]. Zapewnia również bezpieczeństwo kierowcy w razie wypadku. Regulamin zawodów Formuły Student dokładnie określa wymagania odnośnie stosowanych materiałów i ich przekrój.

Four months after taking first steps to build a new, third car we can officially announce the finalization of the design phase RT03. First stage is a part of succes – every detail was precisely designed on time. This year we started earlier - The first recruitment meeting took place on 28.09.2011.

Formula Student UK Organizer - Institution of Mechanical Engineers - announced the list of qualified teams for this year's competition. Obviously, PWR Racing Team is on the list. Together with a team from Warsaw University of Technology, we will represent Poland. This is the second event we are going to, and we plan something more ...

Competitions will be held between 11 and July 15, 2012 at Silverstone - same track Sebastian Vettel or Robert Kubica raced. A list of qualified teams in Class 1, you can find here.

Yesterday, in less than 2:30 min, out team solved Formula Student Germany, rules quiz. It is key test to register for FSG competitions in Hockenheim, Germany. Our result is 10th.

Last year, RT02 - PWR Racing car, got number 24. This year we are happy to announce, that RT03 will start with no. 13. During race, on Hockenheimring, we will prove, that superstitions not stick with us.
